Kitchen uniform (Correction)

Well I'm sorry for the late update.

-The remaining payment fort the kitchen uniform is RM61.

-You guys could collect your uniform in the College Restaurant.

-H1-H4 will be collecting their uniform on 15th oct Wednesday 

-H5-H7 will be collecting their uniform on 16th oct Thursday

-H9-H13 will be collecting their uniform on 17th oct Friday 

As Chef Mark concern there might be some student could not make it in that two days, so... 

- 17th oct Friday is the final day to collect the kitchen uniform.

Time: 1200-1600

Venue: College Restaurant

** Is important to have your kitchen uniform in this Semester, any missing part of your uniform, you might not able to get into the kitchen training.**

Well because of the raining day today, some of the student couldn't make it to the lecturer class. 

For today class, we have started our first lecturer for Hotel management and Operation, for those who miss today, check out where we're at with your friends.

And next week, there might be some changes for the class, for that you might have to check with your class representative, see which classes has been defer(postpone).

Why Thursday ? We got lecturer class on Tuesday do we need to attend ? 

Answer:

If you could look closer to the schedule, there are two type of Lecturer class. There is one which is located in class rooms, Example: V102. That is what I call it a class Lecturer, and is for the individual group only. On the other one which is located in Lecturer hall Example: DK ABD that is a course Lecturer, and that is for the whole entire course. Therefore for this week, what we all need to attend is the Course Lecturer in the Lecturer hall, and thru all of the Group schedule we don't have any Course lecturer class until Thursday. 

Well, Say no more, our class is starting on this Thursday 9th OCT 2008, DK ABE 1600-1800, KHHM1204 Hotel Management and Operation, will be our first class for this semester. If my information is not wrong.

Where the hell is the new Schedule for sem 2?

Okay... Holidays is almost done... and I believe is time for that useless Edison to imform us about the new Schedule for the sem 2. Too bad the useless office people did not post it up on the net yet. 

But luckily We got Mr. Harpy that check it out for us ... as he say... :" there will be NO CLASS on MONDAY, and the schedule is out on the notice board already". 

Therefore we all can check out the schedule on Monday at the BLOCK V NOTICE BOARD.

For those, who are not able to check out the schedule on Monday, you guys could ask from your friends or CALL me if you want no text messaging.... no credit to reply ... holidays makes me bored and broke as hell....  =(

Well is 4am in the morning, I don't wanna sleep cause I have plan this, to study my economy for tomorrow exam... Yea right study. I realize that me and my notes couldn't really work with each other, I try to ask it some question, he said shut the hell up and look in my content, and don't just stare inside of my panty, cause it none of your business, look somewhere else, besides it, Is all there on my body. I say "where"? It say:" is on my body you idiot, I got all tattooed on it, you morron, do you know how painful it is, to go inside the printer"? "Look for yourself I'm not suppose to talk, cause your lecturer told me not to tell you anything, so you could listen to him". So I ditch it off and look for someone who can talk to me of Economics... "Hi youtube"  yea they talk good video lousy speaker ... and I just realize it cause me alot of opportunity cost. Oh well.... fuck that... 

Any how this is the first time I saw a stand-up economist! He said his dad told him he is crazy ... why the hell do you wanna be a stand-up economist when there is no demand! LOL !

Solving the mystery of "the Big Bang"

Finally, for all this years of research in CERN, the scientist finally get to use the most complex and enormous machine on earth LHC( Large Hardon collider) the have built.  the 17-mile-long underground circular path of the Large Hadron Collider (LHC), the world's most powerful particle accelerator, located at the CERN laboratory near Geneva, Switzerland. it is a machine that could smash two atoms at the speed of light, and reenact the scene of "The big Bang" which believe is the starts of our universe! 

LHC has been launch  two days ago, and their mission is a success. The digital camera in the machine does show there are stars like appearance when those atoms smash together, its similar to our universe. But the machine has not been use full blast, according to the news the machine will reach full capacity by this year end. I can't wait! 

Well, there are some negative side of this project as well, the scientist assume they might create a tiny black hole which could suck our mother earth in. Due to a news report on Yahoo, a young girl committed suicide, cause she thought the end of the world is here. For the first beam, we are still around right ? haha, yes I'm still here writing this blog entry. But we are still not sure about the full blast of the machine. Keep your finger cross.

I have told this to one of my poker buddy on Facebook thru the chat box, and someone say:" You fuckin' anti-C_ris" well I am not. All I am is just simply adore the beauty of our human mind which could lead us till this stage of research. No offense to any party out there. 

I can't wait to see what the machine could bring in this year end, it could be an interesting way to welcome another new year =)

All you need to know for the finals exam...

Many of you still asking me about the Exam slip which I already told on Monday... 

-Well, when can we get the exam slip? As the office has told me, they might be ready on either on this Thursday or Friday( doesn't sounds very convincing, I know... ) 

If I got the Exam slip already I will be distribute it on this Saturday during Economy Lecturer class thru all of the class representative... So be there.

-The time table. Please do check out the TAR college intranet for it, is already been ready.

-The venue, I realize that there are quite some venue that we're not familiar, I recommend you guys go take a walk around and get familiar with the venue before your exam day. Therefore you wont be late for the exam. 

-Past year question, there will be some past year question in our school library, so go check it out and there are a photocopy machine over there, just incase you need a copy of it.

-Oh just incase you think your assignment marks will help you lighten your finals marks, You're wrong. First you have to pass your assignment, and you have to pass your finals as well, which mean you have to get 50% passing marks for assignment and 50% passing marks for your finals. So is not like assignment marks plus finals marks= 50% then you're pass, NO! It doesn't work that way. So now you have pass your assignment, do good in your exam there. 

Very well, thats all I can say now, I wish you guys all the best and don't stress out, get enough of sleep in order to help you do better in the exam.

A respond to "fef" and "Kin"

It is not good when you are not doing anything for the others but criticizing on other. Have a lil' respect for yourself and respect for others. 

Just tell me one thing which useless person who could give up his own personal time to answer all those call, when the information has already been given? Which useless person can get you guys the photocopy with the cost of RM0.024 ?(Ask around to all of the printing manager or course rep in the college), just tell me which mother f*cking useless person couldn't do good in grade because of doin all those shit for the course? For this bloody stuff I think I have gave up a lot, and is not just me there are other 12 brilliant person and who ever assist as well, I think they all did their best to make things work....  

Here I could proudly say ... if you can name any other person who are more suitable for the course representative position, I don't they will stand up for it! If they do, they just wanna show of their pride and not doin it for this course. Anyway if there are anyone of you wanna be the course representative they've already did, during the orientation week don't they...

It is not very much relavent to out test this week. Plus the test only contain MCQ question, fill in the blank and some drawing of equipment. Is all easy-peasy just like peeing.

Chef Jafar's test will hold on this week Thursday 17th of July 2008. Venue as my common sense it will be at DK ABE as usual during his lecturer time. H1- H7 will be having the test at  10am -11am, for H8 will be at 11am-12noon. So all the best folks =)

Okay, Chef Mark has call me today... and he has informed me which the kitchen cutleries will be distribute on this coming Thursday 1200-1430 and I have realize that all of the group! So it wont be any problem for ALL of you guys! AND THE SUPPLIER WILL ONLY COME FOR ONE TIME! JUST ONE TIME, IF YOU MISS IT YOU WILL HAVE TO GET THE CUTLERIES YOUR OWN !

FOR WHAT ARE THE PRICING AND WHICH VENUE TO GET IT! LISTEN CAREFULLY WHEN I AM TALKING IN THE LECTURER HALL !

For those who are not in the lecturer hall today and not listening, this is something to remind you =)

Pricing for the tools are RM 81, please do bring the exact figure cause the supplier probably don't have that much of change.

As I have read the book of "Sun Tzu and Management", Sun Tzu is the man who need no introduction, a native of Qi, one of the book of his is simply related to our modern management today "The Art of War"(Sun Tzu Bing Fa). There are many strategies and philosophy in it, but due to our current situation, the issue that we are having now is our communication, communication between me and you.

Therefore this is one of the strategies for Sun Tzu leading a women form troops, just to demonstrate his drilling troops technique, for convincing Ho-Lu the king of Wu that he is eligible to be appoint to be a commander. Till then this is a strategic that he has come out after Ho-Lu has granted him permission to proceed and had the palace beauties come out, obtaining 180 women.

Sun Tzu divided them into two companies, made the king's two favorite ladies the company commanders, and had them all hold up halberds. He issued his orders. "Do you know where your front, left, right, and rear is?"

The women said, "We do."

Sun Tzu said, "When you go forward, face to the front. When you go left, face your left hand. When you go right, face your right hand; When you go back, face behind you."

The women said, "Yes, sir."

The standing orders having been proclaimed, he set out axes, then repeated the signals four or five times. After this, he gave the drum beat for a right turn. The women burst out laughing.

Sun Tzu said, "The king only loves the words, he cannot make use of the reality."

After this, Ho-lu knew that Sun Tzu could command troops and in the end appointed him commander. Later when Wu defeated mighty Ch'u to its west and entered its capital Ying, awed Ch'i and Chin to its north and spread its fame among the feudal lords, it was due in part to Sun Tzu.

So after this, strategic from Sun Tzu, I hope you can identified whose mistake it is when you're not getting your information.

Name List for those who got their particular form rejected !

Here are the names for those who got their Particular form rejected from the office. The issue are simple, you guys pass up the form without the fully requirement from the office. They need two copies of your SPM result slip and certified by them, one passport size photo, language class selection, and nevertheless the address changes form...

Well, I realize that most of the issue are.. the SPM result slip are not certified or doesn't have two copies of it, and another case will be the Address changing form, if your doesn't change just write down two same address in the blank. Do not let it blank!

Introduction to H.I. notes Lesson 4 & 5

I have already receive the notes for Introduction To Hospitality Industry, Lesson 4 & 5.
So class rep. is time to work again, this time I don't want no name list, just gimme the total number! The fees collection could pass it to me on Thursday during the meeting. Thank you =)

Serious "Dead"line for the particular form....

I have past up most of yours student particular form on Thursday 5th of June, and it has been inform since last Friday... It does require two of yours SPM result and need to be verify by the office and one passport size photo.

I am disappointed, very disappointed, cause most of you couldn't complete this task, and some of you could come to me ask for the form yesterday! last Saturday until this Wednesday WHERE ARE YOU? And I'm like some mad person shouting u guys to come down and pick up the form in every single lecturer time. Before the dateline on 5th of June.

Alright, never mind that, Okay for those who has not pass up the form MONDAY is the "DEAD"line... so pass it to your class rep. with the complete requirement! Two SPM slip, one passport size photo, and complete fill up all of the form.

Oh, By the way, there are some rejected form as well... and some of it are with me. so come see me if You think your form is not complete, verifying SPM slip, no photo, form not done fill up ?

OH! By the way, I think the Photocopy of the time table is not necessary... But maybe I will make some copies for you class rep. if need be. I have cancel the printing is because first, the unconfirmed number of students who wants the copy. Plus I bet you guys has already did the good job copy the time table on the bulletin board.

Other than that, if there are any notes or books that your lecturer will like you guys to photocopy, Class Rep. you may bring it to me, I can do the favor for you guys. Just have to make sure all the collection need to be concentrate.

Just a lil' something to share....

Charlie Chaplin's first talkie, The Great Dictator (1940), is loved and loathed in equal measures, but is an outstanding film in many respects. Although some would say Chaplin, after staying silent for so long, now talked too much, you can't argue that he used sound to great effect and made the transition rather better than many of his contempories.

The film includes many classic scenes of comedy - especially the interplay between Hynkel and Napaloni - but it also has serious undertones. You must remember that this film was made when Adolf Hitler was in power and World War II raged across Europe. It was a brave film to make at the time, though upon learning later of the horror of the concentration camps, Chaplin confessed that he wouldn't have made the film with this knowledge (the same thing Hergé said about his Quick and Flupke/Hitler cartoons).

The speech that ends the film is quite famous and even controversial - for some it is overly sentimental, for others it is a real message of peace from a man that the whole world would listen to. Chaplin was asked to repeat the speech on national radio. It may seem a bit dated now in it's style, but it's still sadly apt for the world today.

The plot before hand concerns an innocent Jewish barber (Chaplin) who ends up being mistaken for the Ptomanian dictator Adenoid Hynkel (also Chaplin). He soon finds himself dressed in the fuhrer's outfit, on a platform facing 'his' army, and expected to make a rousing speech to spur on the evil genocide and invasions.

Text of the speech

"I'm sorry, but I don't want to be an emperor. That's not my business. I don't want to rule or conquer anyone. I should like to help everyone if possible - Jew, Gentile - black man - white.

We all want to help one another. Human beings are like that. We want to live by each other's happiness - not by each other's misery. We don't want to hate and despise one another. In this world there's room for everyone and the good earth is rich and can provide for everyone.

The way of life can be free and beautiful, but we have lost the way. Greed has poisoned men's souls - has barricaded the world with hate - has goose-stepped us into misery and bloodshed. We have developed speed, but we have shut ourselves in. Machinery that gives abundance has left us in want. Our knowledge has made us cynical; our cleverness, hard and unkind. We think too much and feel too little. More than machinery we need humanity. More than cleverness, we need kindness and gentleness. Without these qualities, life will be violent and all will be lost.

The aeroplane and the radio have brought us closer together. The very nature of these inventions cries out for the goodness in man - cries for universal brotherhood - for the unity of us all. Even now my voice is reaching millions throughout the world - millions of despairing men, women, and little children - victims of a system that makes men torture and imprison innocent people. To those who can hear me, I say: 'Do not despair.' The misery that is now upon us is but the passing of greed - the bitterness of men who fear the way of human progress. The hate of men will pass, and dictators die, and the power they took from the people will return to the people. And so long as men die, liberty will never perish.

Soldiers! Don't give yourselves to brutes - men who despise you and enslave you - who regiment your lives - tell you what to do - what to think and what to feel! Who drill you - diet you - treat you like cattle, use you as cannon fodder. Don't give yourselves to these unnatural men - machine men with machine minds and machine hearts! You are not machines! You are not cattle! You are men! You have the love of humanity in your hearts. You don't hate, only the unloved hate - the unloved and the unnatural!

Soldiers! Don't fight for slavery! Fight for liberty! In the seventeenth chapter of St Luke, it is written the kingdom of God is within man not one man nor a group of men, but in all men! In you! You, the people, have the power - the power to create machines. The power to create happiness! You, the people, have the power to make this life free and beautiful - to make this life a wonderful adventure. Then in the name of democracy - let us use that power - let us all unite. Let us fight for a new world - a decent world that will give men a chance to work - that will give youth a future and old age a security.

By the promise of these things, brutes have risen to power. But they lie! They do not fulfil that promise. They never will! Dictators free themselves but they enslave the people. Now let us fight to fulfil that promise! Let us fight to free the world - to do away with national barriers - to do away with greed, with hate and intolerance. Let us fight for a world of reason - a world where science and progress will lead to all men's happiness. Soldiers, in the name of democracy, let us unite!

Alright, Fellow class rep. I would like to have would like to make a committee with you guys, so we will have a meeting one day in every week. Therefore, due to the meeting this is occasion that we might going thru:

I have look thru all of our groups' timetable, we will have a spare time On Thursday 1200-1300, and I believe we have found a perfect spot for the gathering, the shelter beside DKE which will be the one that we gather previously.

I really do hope that all the class representative could happen to be there on tomorrow, cause we do need some new co-operation system... for that we have to discuss it on tomorrow.

Measurement Taking For The Kitchen Uniform And Purchasing Of Cutleries (Kitchen Equipments)

The price for the Photocopy .....

The price tag for all of the photocopy today are only RM13 for each person!

It included one Photocopy of the Kitchen text book from Chef Jafar, and three others notes from Miss Amanda.

So, for all this photocopy it will be distributed on Monday before our first lecturer starts, and due to the unconfirmed number of you guys, there will only be 280 copies only, others which didn't get the copies on Monday, do not up set or worry! Send me a name list of you guys I'll do the copy again later on. At the meanwhile you guys could share your notes with your friends first.

For our course Photocopy job, since we don't have any printing manager, so I'll personally will take up the position.

And now I have already successful Negotiation to get the cheapest price for you guys RM0.23 for each page.....

Tomorrow the supplier will be meeting me in college so made up your mind. For my recommendation is best that we print it once and for all .... I'll show him the notes and see how much are the quotation. Till then you guys could know the price for the photocopy...

Regarding from the Social Science of Humanity office, they require all student in the course to fill up the student Particulars form and Changes of address form which I will distribute to you guys on tomorrow Lecturer class 1400-1600.

And there are also a Elective units form which are the foreign language classes, either French or Japanese. So made up your mind, tomorrow you guys will be given the form.

Schedule has change!!!!

From now on, lecturer class on Saturday has change from 0800-1000 to 0900-1100!

Madness Text messages !

I tell you what, I'm not complaining or what so ever... but this is ridiculous !

I have left my cell home while i'm goin to work today, and when I check out my Text messages inbox(when I got home), there are approximately 20 messages from you guys, and asking the same question. "Can I have tomorrow class schedule"?

And I believe the question has been answer by one of the lecturer(Miss Amanda) last week 21st of May 2008 wednesday! If you guys has paying attention enough, you probably can recall that I have ask the Lecturer when could we get our course schedule!

And she has answer, " the schedule will be post on block V bulletin board on Saturday or Sunday". Due to that you guys should check it out yourself!

You know what Course Representative and others committee members are not your recorder in the lecturer hall ! What did you heard from the lecturer, are what we will heard as well! So pay fully ATTENTION!

And it is ridiculous, I'm not gonna spend all my cell phone credits just to reply your text messages! So CALL ME if you wish to know any information ! Simple maths, lets say 10sen for each text message, 10 person = RM 1, and our course has approximately 200-300 student in it! YOU DO THE MATHS !

No hard feeling, with my kindness, I do wish to help but do not make me looks like an idiot telling you things which has been told by the lecturers! And PLEASE!!! PLEASE!!! PLEASE!!! Saturday and Sunday are my leisure days, just leave me alone for the only two days in a bloody week ! I will appreciate it !

Hi guys, I am Edison Seet, which been voted to be your class representative for our course Diploma in Hotel Management by you guys and I do thank you guys for that.
